وبحسب وسائل إعلام إنكليزية فإن الاتفاق بين الناديين يقترب من الحصول على صفة الرسمية، لكن ريال مدريد يريد بيع اللاعب بشكل نهائي، وقد عرض على أرسنال شراء عقد سيبايوس مقابل ما يقارب تسعة وثلاثين مليون دولار أميركي.
وتتبقى لداني سيبايوس ثلاث سنوات في عقده مع النادي الملكي.
