HAKURK, IRAQ - MAY 28: (----EDITORIAL USE ONLY – MANDATORY CREDIT - "TURKISH PRIME MINISTRY / MUSTAFA AKTAS / HANDOUT" - NO MARKETING NO ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS - DISTRIBUTED AS A SERVICE TO CLIENTS----) Turkish commandos observe the area as Turkish Armed Forces launched a counter-terrorism operation in Hakurk, northern Iraq, on May 28, 2019. The military offensive, initiated Monday, aims to neutralize terrorists in the area. It began with artillery shelling and continued with airstrikes and commando operations. Airstrikes destroyed weapons positions, shelters, caves and ammunition depots used by the terrorists with support from combat drones.The National Defense Ministry underlined that the operation was ongoing, as planned. In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU has been responsible for the deaths of nearly 40,000 people, including many women and children.

بثت وزارة الدفاع التركية، أمس الاحد، مشاهد تظهر لحظات اقتحام مغارات يستخدمها عناصر حزب العمال الكردستاني داخل الأراضي العراقية.
وأكدت مصادر في الوزارة، وتابعتها “المراقب العراقي” “استمرار عمليات مخلب البرق ومخلب الصاعقة التي اطلقها الجيش التركي ضد مواقع الـpkk”.
ولفتت إلى أن “القوات التركية تقتحم المغارات التي يستخدمها عناصر حزب العمال واحدة تلو الأخرى رغم صعوبة تضاريس المنطقة، عبر عملياتها المتواصلة في مناطق متينا وأفاشين-باسيان”.
يشار الى ان الحكومة العراقية التزمت الصمت طيلة اشهر انطلاق العمليات العسكرية التركية التي جرت على تخوم محافظة دهوك، ولم يصدر منها أي توضيح..
