أعلنت الأمم المتحدة، أن 7.3 ملايين شخص في اليمن بحاجة إلى مأوى، وسط تصاعد وتيرة الصعوبات المعيشية والاقتصادية في البلاد، التي دخلت الحرب فيها عامها السابع.
جاء ذلك، في تغريدة عبر “تويتر” لـ “مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين”، قالت فيها إنّ “هناك حاجة ماسّة لتوفير المأوى في اليمن”.
وأضافت أنّ “هناك 7.3 ملايين يمني يحتاجون إلى مأوى ومساعدات غير غذائية، وأنّ 75% منهم من النساء والأطفال”.
وتابعت المفوضية أنّها “تنظّم اليوم معرضاً في العاصمة صنعاء، بهدف تقديم حلول لاحتياجات المأوى المتزايدة في اليمن»، من دون ذكر تفاصيل أخرى”.
يُشار إلى أنّ هؤلاء الأشخاص هم إمّا نازحون جراء الحصار و العدوان السعودي الاماراتي أو من الفقراء الذين لا يمتلكون ثمن توفير مأوى.
